Vanessa speaks on the importance of not only finding her own community but also giving back to the community. Her social media platforms have helped her connect with people and give others a sense of relatability and comfort that she’s always wanted more of in her life.
Born in the Philippines and growing up in Japan, Vanessa has experienced new places and faces her entire life. In her final move from Japan to Seattle, she experienced hardships that she feels many others may relate to. With always feeling hungry for community, she speaks on how she adjusted to new beginnings and started to build a community for herself. With so much to take and learn from her past experiences, she dedicates herself to always finding new ways to give back. She aspires to radiate confidence and allow others that look like her to feel confident in who they are.
Vanessa has created connections and experienced relationships within multiple communities. She makes it clear that she's still growing and building as a person and uses her community as a big motivator. With her continuous desire to expand her outreach, she has many plans for the near future!
