The History of Our Hosts
To kick off this episode all about friendship, Megan and Sai delve into the history of their own friendship, and how our two hosts came together in the first place. Although they first meet at Pochi Bubble Tea, it isn’t until they pursue another job together and find common struggles in their new position that they find their friendship begins to blossom. As they manage to find their way back together (AGAIN) through their pursuit of marketing positions at Pochi Bubble Tea, the rest is history and you can always find these two side-by-side.
The Reality of Meeting Friends
Whether it be through school or work, Megan and Sai share how they have managed to make and maintain friendships as young adults in their twenties, and how things aren’t as easy as it may seem. They’ve come to discover that the places they spend their time the most are the most promising environments to potentially make friends, and they both share how these friendships can often be based off of a common struggle. As they spend the majority of their days with their coworkers, Megan and Sai have come to find comfort and close friendship with their coworkers, and how a strong team environment correlates to the fostering of these relationships.
The Value of Friendship
Having a lot of friends may seem like something to aspire to, but from Megan and Sai’s experience, having a tight-knit, smaller friendship circle has been key to meaningful relationships. Rather than having a bunch of surface level friendships, our hosts have come to realize that quantity does not always equal quality, and how prioritizing the people that will add the most value and positivity to your life are the ones worth keeping.
