Embrace the Crisp Air: Must-Do Fall Activities in North Seattle!

As the leaves turn to vibrant shades of red and gold, Washington State transforms into a playground of autumnal wonder. Whether you're a fan of cozying up with a warm drink or venturing into the great outdoors, fall in Washington offers something magical for everyone. From scenic hikes through colorful forests to harvest festivals brimming with local delights, let's explore the best ways to savor this season (along with the perfect fall drink to pair!)

First up on our list is apple picking! Have you ever gone to an apple picking farm? With no admission fee, these U-Pick apple orchards allow you to choose the kind of apples you want!

One of the farms our team has been to is Swans Trail Farms. Located in Snohomish, WA, they have over 4,000 apple trees on 5 acres of land. Currently they go for $3.50/lb and have 4 different varieties such as: Honeycrisp, Cosmic Crisp, Ambrosia, and Jonagold.

Additionally, they have U-Pick pumpkin patches. Click here to learn more about Swans Trail Farms & their upcoming Harvest Festival!

Speaking of pumpkin patches, our favorite pick goes to Bob’s Corn and Pumpkin Farm

With over 60 varieties of pumpkins spread over 40 acres total, you’re sure to find the perfect pumpkin for you! What makes Bob’s unique is the pumpkin patch inside AND outside of the admission area. If you wish to partake in other activities other than pumpkin pickin’, general admission is $24.95. But if you only want pumpkins, go ahead and park, pick your pumpkins, and head home! We also walked around their corn maze and it was really fun!

And if Bob’s ain’t big enough for you, check out Thomas Family Farm! Not only do they have a pumpkin patch, but they also have a corn maze, gem mining, super mega tube slide, pro karts, paintball, inflatables, mini golf, apple cannons, and many more!

They also have activities to do at night if you’re into the thrill

One of the more chill activities we like are the farmers market around the Seattle area. One for example, is the U-District farmers market hosted every Saturday on the north end of the Ave. With over 80 vendors, there’s lots to explore. Come find your next ingredient or try something exotic at these farmers markets!

Next up, the Pochi team is heading to Stocker Farms! We’ll be checking out the pumpkin patch and embracing the fall vibes :)
